As promised earlier, the British Council is once again bringing arts and cultural events to Calabar city, in line with its plans to expand its educational and cultural collaboration in Nigeria to Cross River State.

On April 7th 2016, the British Council shall present Creative Hustle: Career Pathways in Theatre and Dance Production: A talk about careers within the Creative Sector with Jan Willem den Bosch (Writer/Director, United Kingdom) and Segun Adefila (Artistic Director, Crown Troupe of Africa) as speakers. First Bank, who are partners in the project will also send a representative to speak about First Bank and its support for SMEs in the Nigerian Creative Industry.

The time is 10am – 1pm at University of Calabar International Conference Centre

In addition to this, Shakespare Lives, which is a theatre production in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeares death will be showcased by the British Council in collaboration with the University of Calabar theatre and English departments.
