Harvard trained Commissioner of Finance for Cross River State, Asuquo Ekpenyong jnr is set to pay the dowry for his heartthrob, the delectable Nela Duke today 5th May 2018, in what is being dubbed as the most anticipated Efik high class societal traditional weddings of all times. The duo are both products to two very influential and affluent Efik families.
While Asuquo is the son of finance guru and businessman, Elder Chief (Dr) Asuquo Ekpenyong snr, who is Chairman/C.E.O Davandy Group of companies , Chairman Channel View hotels , Member of many professional bodies and holder of the Order of the Niger (OON) title, coincidentally he turned 70 yesterday, Friday 4th May.
Recently the Dukes gave out their first daughter in marriage in a ceremony that had Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote in attendance amongst several high profile dignitaries.
The journey of love between Nela and Suki as popularly called in the social circle first got to our ears when he engaged her in a private dinner on Valentine’s Day 2017 in Calabar.
As tradition demands, he has registered his intentions with the Dukes family in an introduction ceremony held on 23rd December 2017.
