The General Manager, Cross River Investment Promotion Bureau, Barr. Rosemary Ekeng as part of efforts to better the lot of the internally displaced persons in the state, recently marked her birthday at the Bakassi IDP camp where she gave foodstuff, clothing, drugs and feed over 120 children.
Also organized was deworming exercise for the kids and free malaria screening and treatment for all those who tested positive to the malaria virus.
She was accompanied by the Honourable Commissioner for Social Housing Cross River State Mr. Edem Okokon Effiom and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture. She thanked all those who supported her even at short notice especially the D.G Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Betta Edu.
In her words “God has made us a shining light to our world and each time we give to another life you give them an opportunity to shine too. Light a candle or bulb or whatever but God put us here to be a blessing, so don’t waste your life pursuing money take time to give back… God bless and reward all of you that supported me and those supporting good causes all over the world”
