MISS AFRICA, GASE BALOPI LEADS CHARITY WALK FOR CENTENARY CELEBRATION OF NELSON MANDELA IN ABUJA


Miss Africa Queen, Gaseangwe Balopi led a fun/charity walk in partnership with the South African High Commission, Abuja to commemorate the centenary celebration of Nelson Mandela on Saturday 16th June, 2018. The walk was also to celebrate the South African National Youth day in remembrance of the students who lost their lives in June, 1976 in protest of the apartheid government.
Speaking at the fun walk, the High Commissioner, Bobby Moroe said it is time for Africa to unite and create opportunities through positive collaboration between African countries and that is the reason for the partners such as Miss Africa and others to come celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela.
Miss Africa Queen, Gase Balopi thanked the South African Embassy for the opportunity to be part of this great Centenary celebration of an African Icon and thanked all the partners who turned up for the walk.
