Photos showing events to mark the 2016 International Students’ Day Celebration, a day set aside globally to celebrate students. In Cross River State the event to mark the day was organized by the Office of the Special Assistant Student Affairs &Youth Mobilization to the Governor and included press briefing; visit to orphanage; paper presentation by Associate Prof. Mike Okom on Academic Excellence and Socio-economic Independence; interactive session that addressed issues affecting students/education in the state and nation led by Prof. Florence Obi, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics; free malaria treatment and testing, guidance and counselling on HIV & Other Health relates issues.
Participation was drawn from all tertiary institutions in the state and select secondary schools.
