The Second edition of ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ Town Hall Meeting has been slated for May 13, 2017, a statement from organizers of the pogram says.

The special guest for the second edition is the Chairman, Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba.

This edition will discuss the creative sector in Cross River State with the theme: “Harnessing The Potentials Of The Creative Economy To Create Jobs For The Youth,” with three panelists and three speakers slated to discuss more on the topic.

A Professor of African Visual Culture and Visual Anthropology, Babson Ajibade, a Doctor in Musicology, Caroline Etim and a Professor of Scenography, Andrew Esekong will be guest speakers at the event.

The Chief Executive Officer of Luvita creations, Lovelyn Ita, Chairman of the Calabar creative cluster, Emmanuel Etim and the Chief Executive Officer of Callywood, Egor Efiok will be the panelists.

In line with the theme of this edition, the speakers and panelists will expostulate on the potential for, and challenges to growth, in the film, music, fashion, visual arts industries as well as theatre, creative writing and many more in Cross River State.

The event will hold at the Diamond Hall, Transcorp Hotels in Calabar and will begin at 11:00 AM creative time.
