About SOFER Initiative:
Stand Out For Environment Restoration (SOFER) Initiative is a registered community based NGO committed to raising environmental awareness and also inspire the youths and general public to take action towards attitudinal change through a range of creative programs. We also support community actions and behavioural change towards the environment.
Since November 2010, we have been working with over 400 volunteers across Rivers State, Akwa Ibom State and Cross River State to execute environmental activities and also inspire youths to develop communities.
We educate and advocate, while creating environmental awareness by working with the youths to provide practical opportunities for positive behavioural change. Its vision is to raise a generation of environmentally positive conscious people with attitudes that develop and sustain the earth.
